Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — Details on a traffic stop that resulted in drug related charges are released.
The Dickinson County Sheriffs Office said two people were arrested on drug charges earlier this month, following a traffic stop near Wahpeton on Highway 86.
Upon making contact with the driver, 31-year-old Cassandra Seeders of Milford, a subsequent investigation involving the Dickinson County K-9 resulted in the detection of drugs. the search turned up what’s believed to be marijuana and methamphetamine along with meth precursors and drug paraphernalia.
Seeders was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell methamphetamine; possession of precursors; possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana. She was booked into jail on a $15,000 bond.
A passenger in the vehicle, 33-year-old Johnathon Jacobsen of Independence was arrested and charged with 3rd offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana. He was being held on a $15,000 bond.
Authorities then executed a search warrant at Gull Point State Park resulting in additional charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell methamphetamine, possession of precursors and possession of drug paraphernalia being filed against Jacobson.
