Spencer, IA (KICD)–The Clay County Fair’s multi-million dollar Centennial Vision project was unveiled at this week’s shareholders meeting.
Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons tells KICD News that fair staff has worked with Keffer/Overton Architects out of Des Moines to come up with a long term plan.
The three phases of the project includes renovation of current facilities, construction of new facilities, and an overhaul of the fairgrounds’ infrastructure
It was also noted at the meeting that the Fair concluded a positive year financially with a 3 percent increase in revenue. With assistance from the Clay County Fair Charitable Trust, the Fair invested more than $34,000 in capital improvements to the fairgrounds.
