Spencer, IA (KICD)–The Clay County Fair’s multi-million dollar Centennial Vision project was unveiled at this week’s shareholders meeting.
Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons tells KICD News that fair staff has worked with Keffer/Overton Architects out of Des Moines to come up with a long term plan.
The three phases of the project includes renovation of current facilities, construction of new facilities, and an overhaul of the fairgroundsâ€™ infrastructure
It was also noted at the meeting that the Fair concluded a positive year financially with a 3 percent increase in revenue. With assistance from the Clay County Fair Charitable Trust, the Fair invested more than $34,000 in capital improvements to the fairgrounds.
