Royal, IA (KICD)–The Clay Central Everly School Board met for their regular monthly meeting on Monday evening.
Superintendent Dennis McClain tells KICD News that fees for student and adult breakfasts and lunches had to be increased to meet the federal reimbursement levels to cover free and reduced lunches.
Lunch for students will now cost $2.75 with a $3.30 charge for adults. Breakfast will run $1.50 for students and $1.70 for adults.
The board also came up with their top legislative priorities.
Kelsey Muxfeldt was named the district’s new varsity softball coach.
