Cherokee, IA (KICD)–A Cherokee man who decided to join his co-workers in purchasing lottery scratch tickets last Wednesday came out $10,000 ahead.
Bill Kennebeck who works for George Construction in Cherokee, purchased his winning “Blazing Hot 7s Game Book” instant-scratch ticket Wednesday at the Cherokee Country Store.
Kennebeck said his lottery winnings will be used to pay his medical bills. In the meantime he will have a bot of fun with his co-workers who play the lottery more often.
