CCF Attendance & Monday Preview

Spencer, IA (KICD)–Another 60,126 came to the Clay County Fair on Sunday to leave the two day attendance figure at 118,090.

Today is Veteran’s Appreciation Day with free admission for all United States Military Veterans.

It is also Iowa Soybean Day with Soybean Day displays and activities from 9-8 at Central Park. POET will also have a special exhibit during that timeframe north of the Events Center.

The Veteran’s Day Parade of Honor will start at 10:00.

The dueling guitars group SongBlast will perform at the Northwest Bank Stage at 10:00., 1:00, and 4:00 Farmer Bob will also start to stroll the fairgrounds at 10:00 and will be back out at Noon, 2:00pm, 4:00pm.

The Awesome Ag Show will start at 10:00, noon,2:00pm, and 4:00pm. north of Grandpa’s Barn and guided tours of Grandpa’s Barn will be held at 10:00,1:00pm, and 4:00pm.

The comedy juggling duo Project Dynamite will take to the Farmers Bank Stage at 10:30 with additional showings at 1:30 and 4:30.

Comedic Juggler Greg Frisbee will perform at 11:00 and 1:30 at the DISH Plaza.

The Veteran’s Day Appreciation Program will start at 11:00 in the Events Center Ballroom.

Comedian C. Willi Myles takes to the Northwest Bank Stage at 11:30 with additional showings at 2:30 and 5:30.

A Capella group Home Free will perform at noon, 3:00, and 6:00 at the Farmers Bank Stage

The Big Cat Encounter has showings at noon, 3:00, and 6:00 north of Gate A

The ShenaniGuns! Comedy Wild West Show will perform at 12:30, 3:30 and 5:30 north of the KICD Depot building.

Phil Hurst and Friends will take part in a program title “Good Afternoon, Vietnam” while Joan Waller and the Spencer National Guard presents a “Salute to Old Glory” at 1:00 in the 4-H Auditorium.

Grand Ole County performs at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 at the KICD Courtyard Stage.

Jack Ryan & Friends will perform at 2:00 at the Art Barn Stage.

Sgt. Daniel Shaughnessy will present the program “The Wars: Iraq and Afghanistan” at 2:30 in the 4-H auditorium.

The GoldStar Amusements Midway opens at 4:00 with 10 rides for $15.

Vocalist Bill Lauritzen will perform in the 4-H auditorium at 4:00.

Strolling Island Time will perform on the steel drums at 5:00 and 7:00 at the DISH Plaza.

Jill Barr will perform at 6:30 at the KICD Courtyard Stage.

Tonight’s grandstand performance is Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers with special guest Billy Dean presented by CD 107.7 at 7:30 p.m.
