Royal, IA (KICD) — Plenty of discussions occurred during Monday night’s Clay Central Everly School Board meeting. One subject that brought about plenty of discussion was the feasibility study done for the district. Superintendant Dennis McClain shares some points of the study.
The board decided to put that study up on their website for the public to read. The board also received an update on building security systems, of which a couple options were shared.
McClain said there were questions raised about why CC-E’s cost per student to ride the school bus was so high, when compared to other schools in the area.
The board also heard of new coaching hirings the school has made, of which McClain shares.
The board also decided to push next month’s meeting back one week to November 25th
