Hospers, IA (KICD) — Authorities are investigating two burglaries in Hospers. The Sioux County Sheriffs Office said the burglaries occurred during the overnight hours of December 4th or the early morning hours of December 5th. The burglar or burglars broke into Neal-Chase Lumber and Farmers Coop, by forcing open the entry doors with a pry bar. Once inside the businesses, file cabinets, desks and safes were broken into, with cash and gift cards being taken. Authorities are investigating similar incidents in Matlock and in Lyon County.
