Wynonna Judd didn't tell her family about wedding plans

New bride Wynonna Judd didn't invite her famous mum and sister to her recent nuptials because she didn't want them picking her apart on her wedding day.

The country star wed drummer Cactus Moser at her Tennessee farm on June 10 and the couple's children were the only guests, and now the 48 year old has revealed she purposely kept mom Naomi and actress sister Ashley in the dark about her big day so they wouldn't ruin the event and make her feel "self-conscious."

She tells Us Weekly magazine, "I didn't want it to be about anyone but Cactus and me. Because to me, at the end of the day, it's the children, Cactus, and me."

"If I know Ashley, she would have re-positioned my dress, or mom would have given me a Kleenex (tissue) to stuff in my bra, or told me I have something in my teeth. I just didn't want that. I just wanted to get married!"

And the Grammy Award winner confesses she's "not even sure" her family has heard the news yet.

She adds, "Ashley's probably so busy with (husband, racing driver) Dario (Franchitti) having won the Indianapolis 500, she probably doesn't even know."

But she hopes the two can reconnect soon: "We're getting ready to sit down with our life coach and re-evaluate what we want out of this relationship... We just don't have a lot of contact right now, if any, because we're all doing our own thing."

Ashley and Naomi sat down for a rare interview earlier this month to launch the country singer's new satellite radio show and Wynonna's love life was not discussed.
