Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--The trial for a Rembrandt man facing 66 charges of sexually abusing two teenage girls has been continued.
The trial for 36-year-old Cory Wernimont was originally slated to get underway today but has been moved to March 5th according to online court records. Wernimont is charged with 6 counts of third-degree sexual abuse in the alleged abuse of a 15-year-old girl on August 7th at his home. He is also facing 60 counts of third degree sexual abuse in a case where he's charged with sexually abusing another 15-year-old girl numerous times in the past two to three years.
