Wedel Nominations Sought



Spencer, IA--The winner of the Annual Jack Wedel Community Service Award must posses volunteer and leadership qualities.  The award was designed to recognize a person (couple), organization or business for outstanding contributions to the Spencer Chamber of Commerce and the Spencer community.

The award focuses on the amount of volunteer participation, interest and leadership shown to the association during the past 12 months.
Members of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce are encouraged to nominate a deserving individual or organization for the 2012 Jack Wedel Award.  The award will be presented during the Chamber annual meeting held on October 22, 2012 at the Clay County Regional Events Center.

Nominations should include a written statement listing accomplishments of the individual, organization or business during the past year.  All nominations must be signed.  Deadline for nominations will be Friday, August 31, 2012 at 12:00 noon.
