Suspicious Person Reports



Undated (KICD)--Local authorities investigate more suspicious person reports.

On Tuesday night around 9:30 a pair of teenage girls told Sheldon Police that an older man yelled at them from a minivan.  Lyon County authorities were scrambling last night as well as the looked into an abduction report which proved to not be the case.

These incidents continue a recent string of similar reports.  On Tuesday an older man allegedly motioned to two children at Lincoln Elementary in Spencer to come closer.  The man fled as adults approached.

Last week in Lake Park a man with a similar description allegedly approached a teenage girl and a walking woman in Lake Park last week.  An attempted abduction was reported a couple of weeks ago in Rock Rapids.

Law enforcement officials are still looking to question the 60-75-year-old man who is believed to be driving a white large van.  Contact authorities with any information you may have.
