Storm Lake Police Reports



   Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--An alleged domestic disturbance  in Storm Lake Saturday night led to charges against two people.

    POlice say they were called to the 1400 block of North Seneca Street around 7 PM.

     Officers say 44 year old David Neal and 45 year old Sharon Hoover allegedly physically assaulted each other over the past 36 hours.

       Investigators say they were told Hoover tackled Neal and took his phone when he tried to call 9-1-1.

      Both were arrested and charged with domestic assault.  Hoover faces a count of obstruction of emergency communication.   Both are being held without bond.

       A bar check Friday night ended up with charges filed against an Oklahma man.

       Police say they spotted an underage man get an alcoholic beverage from another person.

      The underage man was identified as 19 yar old Austin Mogg of El Reno.   He was cited for possession of alcohol and released.   The other patron -- 21 year old Joseph Klinkel from Ames -- was charged with supplying alcohol to a minor and public intoxication.   He's been jailed on a 1 thousand dollar cash bond.

     Storm Lake police stopped a Storm Lake man for erratic driving Friday night -- and wound up filing drug charges.

      Officers say they pulled 54 year old Michael Robinson over in the parking lot of Malarky's Night Club.    Investigators allege he was druink and arrested him.    A search of Robinson's car reportedly turned up marijuana.  

      Robinson is charged with third offense possession of a controlled substance, OWI an no driver's license.   Police also say Robinson tried to pick a fight with another inmate while being booked into the Buena Vista County jail.  That resulted in a count of disorderly conduct.    He's being held on a 36 hundred dollar cash bond.
