Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--A woman is jailed in connection to this past weekend's heroin bust in Storm Lake.
On Wednesday afternoon 47-year-old Sophia Morrow of Storm Lake was arrested by Storm Lake Police on a class C felony warrant charging her with Possession With Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession of Methadone, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Morrow was booked into Buena Vista County jail on a $100,000 cash bond.

During a probation check on Wednesday night Police located and seized crystal methamphetamine packaged for street sales and drug paraphernalia.
Following an investigation Storm Lake Police arrested 26-year-old Vongsay Maloutaphong on a class C felony charge of Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the county jail on a $50,300 cash bond.
Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--Investigation into a runaway ends with child endangerment charges filed on Wednesday.
46-year-old Veronica Anderson of Storm Lake told Police that her 14-year-old daughter ran away after an argument at Burger King. A short time later the girl walked into the Storm Lake Police Station and reported that she had been physically abused by her mother.
After investigation Police alleged that the girl had been struck with a belt and buckle by her mother during an argument while at a residence.
Anderson was placed in Buena Vista County jail on a class D felony count of Child Endangerment Causing Bodily Harm. She was held on a $5,000 cash bond.
The incident was reported to the Iowa Department of Human Services and the child victim was placed into emergency foster care.
