Spencer Veterans Day Programs



Spencer, IA (KICD)--While Veterans Day was Sunday, the annual ceremony at the Spencer Veterans Memorial is being held this morning.

Clay County Veterans Affairs Director Joan Waller tells KICD News that this is a time to come together and show respect and honor those who have given themselves for us.

Waller talks about this year's keynote speaker and program.

This morning's program will start at 11:00 at the Spencer Veterans Memorial located just north of SMU with all from the public encouraged to attend.  Spencer High School will have a program as well from 1:15-1:45.  Sacred Heart will host their program starting at 2:15.
