Spencer, IA (KICD)--Spencer city council members will get an update on progress of the Spencer Community Theatre tonight.
That's one of the items on the agenda for tonight's meeting. Council members also plan a public hearing for a sanitary sewer in the Deerfield Park Third addition
The council is likely to authorize a 5 thousand dollar retainer to Everly Construction. That's for the Municipal Golf Course clubhouse project.
Also on the agenda is a move to approve an agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation for a safe routes to school project.
Council members will also discuss how the tree trimming ordinance that was enforced last year, and possibly amend parts of the snow emergency parking ordinance.
The meeting starts at 6:30 in council chambers at City Hall. It's preceded by a committee of the whole meeting at 5:30 during which the council plans to discuss the tree trimming program.
