Shopko Grand Opening



Estherville, IA (KICD) -- A grand opening is held for a new store in Estherville.

The community officially welcomed the Shopko Hometown Store to town. Stephanie Neppl is with The Estherville Chamber Of Commerce. she says Shopko moved into the location, formerly housed by Pamida Store...

It took about 4 months to finish the process, but Neppl says it's a great confidence booster for a community to have a business want to locate there...

 
One of the highlights of the grand oening was a presentation of a check for $2500 to the Estherville LIncoln Central High School, from the Shopko Hometown Foundation. There were also a number of gift cards handed out, along with several register to win prizes.

Neppl said the community is very pleased and is looking forward to having Shopko Hometown as part of the business community in Estherville, for many years.
