Rocket Slide Move Partnership

Spencer, IA (KICD)--The wheels have started to turn on the move of the historic Rocket Slide from West Leach Park.

Spencer Parks Director Delray Bredehoft tells KICD News that a partnership between the Park Board and Spencer Jaycees was made official at their Tuesday board meeting.

Bredehoft expects the deconstruction and reconstruction of the slide at East Leach Park to take about two years to complete.
