Record Highs Posted In Corn & Soy



Spencer, IA: (Jul 19, 2012) - Near-month corn and soybean futures on the Chicago Board of Trade hit record highs early this morning as investors piled up long positions due to tight supplies and the declining crop conditions.
 
Soybeans for August delivery rose above $17 a bushel to an all-time high of $17.49.
 
Corn for September delivery rose above $8 a bushel for the first time to a high of $8.16 3/4, blowing away the previous high of $7.99, set in June 2011.
