Ruthven, IA (KICD)--Talks of a whole grade sharing agreement between the Ruthven-Ayrshire and Graettinger-Terril School Districts have been called off.
Ruthven-Ayrshire Superintendent Andrew Woiwood tells KICD News that the majority of the school board has decided that moving forward with a partial day sharing agreement with the Emmetsburg School District would be more beneficial to their district.

Board President Barry Fisher tells KICD News that the majority of district patrons were not in favor of the latest whole grade sharing proposal.
Graettinger-Terril Superintendent Jesse Ulrich says he is disappointed that a positive and mutually beneficial agreement could not be reached.
The athletic sharing agreement between both districts will remain in effect for this year and will be reviewed annually by both boards.
