On Wednesday, O'Brien County Sheriffs Deputies conducted a search of a residence in Primghar. The search of the home turned up substantial amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana.
. The Sheriff’s report says that a significant amount of marijuana and methamphetamine were seized along with drug paraphernalia. As a result, Officers arrested the home resident, 38-year old Melissa Zmudka, along with 34-year old Charlie Chapman and 51-year old Kevin Janssen all of Primghar.
All three were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Janssen was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine.
All three were booked into the O'Brien County Jail, and were released next morning on bonds, and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Assisting in the incident was the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force, including the Clay County Sheriffs Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Sioux Falls Police Department and the Department of Human Services.
