Moneta, IA (KICD)--Six area teens are involved in a Thursday evening mishap.
The O'Brien County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Albert Hank Voss IV of Hartley was heading south on 100th Avenue, two miles south of Moneta, shortly after 8:30 in a 2001 Ford pickup. Voss lost control, entered the west ditch, and rolled the pickup which came to rest on the roof.
14-year-old Collin McKee was ejected and trapped beneath the truck. He was extricated and taken to Spencer Hospital by Spencer Ambulance.
Four others including 15-year-old Harry Pederson of Hartley, 14-year-old Levi Verdoorn of Sanborn, 14-year-old Alecia Tifft of Spencer, and 15-year-old Haley Nielson of Spencer were triaged by medical personnel and picked up by family members.
Others assisting include the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Hartley Police, Royal and Everly Fire & Rescue, Everly Ambulance, and Spencer Paramedics and 1st Responders.
