On Monday night, the Buena Vista County Sheriffs Office did a bar check at Bobby's Sand Bar, in Linn Grove. The deputy discovered two people in the bar using a controlled substance. 60-year old Robert Wiese who is the bar owner, along with 59-year old Debra Chapman, both of Greenville were detained in the bar.
Drug paraphernalia and suspected controlled substances were found on both. Wiese and Chapman were arrested and transported to the Buena Vista County Jail. Wiese was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Chapman was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The investigation is continuing.
