Clay County Deputies were called out at 4:20 to 320th Avenue and 500th Street where they found a 1998 Buick Century resting on its top in the westside ditch of 320th Avenue. 24-year-old Melissa North says she was traveling south on 320th when she lost control of her vehicle on loose gravel, causing her to enter the ditch and roll over.
North reported minor injuries, and was transported to the Spencer Municipal Hospital where she was treated for minor bruises and scrapes.
Spencer, IA (KICD)--A Spencer man turns himself in on a pair of outstanding Clay County arrest warrants.
19-year-old Scott Pruitt was wanted on two counts of delivery of 50 kilograms or less of marijuana. He is currently being held without bond in Clay County jail.
Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)--Emmetsburg Police are looking looking into a Sunday vandalism.
An Emmetsburg woman reported that her 2003 Chevy Impala was parked at the Emmetsburg Care Center. She discovered her car spray painted with two of its tires damaged. The damage estimate came to $4,000.
Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--Seven snow blowers are stolen from the front of the Storm Lake Bomgaars Store.
Store representatives report the theft took place sometime between the hours of 8:00 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 Saturday. The snow blowers, valued in excess of $5,000, were secured with a cable which was cut to facilitate the thefts.
Police are asking anyone who may have information on the thefts or anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near the front entrance of the Bomgaars Store on Friday evening or early Saturday morning to contact the Storm Lake Police Department Investigations Division at 712-732-8010.
Hull, IA (KICD)--A Rock Valley woman is arrested on a theft charge by the Sioux County Sheriff's Office.
An investigation on 34-year-old Heather DeStigter started last month when it was reported that she was suspected in taking money from her employer. Upon further investigation deputies discovered DeStigter had taken $1,500 dollars from De Jong Hardware Hank, in Hull over the past four months.
DeStigter was arrested Saturday on a class D felony charge of 2nd degree theft.
