Webb, IA (KICD)--A Clay County Deputy on patrol investigates a campsite at Kindlespire Park Saturday evening.
After investigation 20-year-old Grant Stanley was charged with a class D felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a class D felony, and minor in possession of alcohol 19-year-old Kyle Fuhrman of Spencer was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of alcohol.
Both men were held in Clay County jail to appear before the Magistrate.
Charges are pending on two other adult males.
Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--A Storm Lake man is jailed following a Monday afternoon incident.
Several witnesses on scene told Storm Lake Police that 26-year-old WIlliam Reyes had allegedly engaged in a verbal argument with his wife and her brother. The argument escalated at which time Reyes physically assaulted his wife’s brother by striking him in the face. Reyes again charged the victim at which time the victim defended himself by striking Reyes in the face several times. Reyes and the victim then fell to the ground at which time the victim overpowered Reyes. The victim let Reyes up and Reyes retrieved a shovel and attempted to strike the victim. Reyes was told that the police had been called at which time he fled.
After being located Reyes was arrested without incident and charged with Assault While Displaying a Weapon. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond.
Both Reyes and the victim sustained minor injuries and both declined medical treatment.
The Storm Lake Police Department was assisted by the Buena Vista County Sheriffs Department.
Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)--A Webb man is jailed for threatening a subject over the phone.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office arrested 23-year-old Jonathon Koenig last week on a charge of harassment by telephone. Koenig was taken from Clay County jail to the Palo Alto County line where he was transported to Palo Alto County jail to make an initial appearance before a Magistrate.
Ayrshire, IA (KICD)--An assault in a field near Ayrshire take place last Wednesday.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Luke Rouse assaulted a man in a field in the 2900 block of 400th Street.
Rouse was released after being cited for assault and given a future court date.
Superior, IA (KICD) -- A Minnesota man was injured in an accident involving two motorcycles.
The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office says the accident occurred around 3:48 Monday afternoon, on 320th Avenue, near Swan Lake, north of Superior.
47-year old Karl Palmquist of St James was riding a 1991 Harley Davidson, and 47-year old Earl Palmquist also of St James was riding a 2010 Yamaha. The two were riding side by side through the curves near Swan Lake.
Both failed to negotiate the final curve, and both bikes went off the roadway, into the west ditch. The two bikes avoided collsion with each other.
Karl Palmquist was transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare by Ambulance with incapacitating injuries and later air-lifted to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Earl Palmquist sustained possible injuries and refused transport on scene.
The accident remains under investigation.

Ruthven, IA (KICD) -- A single vehicle accident results in minor injuries to the driver.
Around 7:16 Saturday morning, the Palo Alto County Sheriffs Office investigated a single vehicle accident, in the 3200 block of 370th Avenue, 6 1/2 miles northeast of Ruthven, after being reported by a citizen
Around 2:20 Saturday morning, a 2004 Ford, driven by Alexander Ward V, was southbound on 370th Avenue, when a deer came out on the road.
Ward attempted to swerve to avoid hitting the deer, and lost control of the vehicle, which slid through the east ditch, then flipped over, landing on it's top.
Ward and a passenger, Peter Marcum, of Ruthven were located several hours after the accident had been called in. Ward complained of minor injuries.
The Ford was totalled in the accident, and Ward was cited for no insurance.
Emmetsburg, IA (KICD) -- An Emmetsburg female receives minor injuries after driving her vehicle into a house.
On Thursday, Bridget Fogarty was backing her vehicle from her driveway in the 1700 block of 7th Street, when her foot became stuck under the pedal.
The 2009 Chrysler Town and Country then crossed the street, going through the yard and striking a house at 1705 7th Street, before stopping.
Fogarty received minor injuries to her face, but refused medical treatment at the scene. Damage to the Chrysler was estimated at $7500, while the house received an estimated $10,000 damage.
