Jim Hall Nominees



Estherville, IA (KICD)--Nominations for the 19th annual Jim Hall Outstanding Alumni award are being sought by the the Iowa Lakes Community College Alumni & Friends Association.

The Alumni & Friends Association established the Jim Hall Outstanding Alumni Award in 1992. Jim was a 1968 alumnus of Iowa Lakes who died in 1991. He was a strong supporter of the college and enjoyed being an assistant football coach at Iowa Lakes.

The association presents this award annually at the college’s spring commencement ceremony at the Estherville campus to a past graduate who is outstanding in service to community, business, school and/or service club.

Past recipients of the award have been Dr. Judy Reinking of Algona; Ronald Smith of Dolliver; Rep. Marcie Frevert of Emmetsburg; Bob Grems, John S. Walz, Pat Hall, Al Blum, Linda Heldt and Rick Olesen of Estherville; Herman Richter, Dean Luchtel, and Greg Stevens of Milford; Marian Brunsvold, Jack Tatman and Dr. L.T. Donovan of Spirit Lake; Bruce Hertzke of Forest City; Dana Holland of Ottumwa; and, M.C. Gill of Pasadena, Calif.
