Storm Lake, IA (KICD) -- A Storm Lake woman was arrested after complaints about alcohol being illegally served in her business.
On Thursday evening, Storm Lake Police executed a search warrant at Pro Day Spa, at 111 Sale Barn Road, in connection with the report of illegal alcohol serving at the business.
The search warrant was part of an investigation stemming from complaints the Storm Lake Police Department received alleging that the business had been illegally dispensing liquor to customers in violation of state law.
On Thursday evening, an undercover police officer went into the business during the early evening business hours and received a pedicure, and while doing so police allege the business served their patrons alcoholic beverages.
Upon executing the search warrant police located and seized several bottles of alcohol.
Around 11:30 this (Friday) morning, Storm Lake Police arrested 33-year old Marth Harder-Mai, the owner of Pro Day Spa, charging her with Dispensing Liquor Without a License. She was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and was released after posting bond pending a court date.
Assisting in the investigation was the Cherokee Police Department.
