ILCDC Private Investment



Spencer, IA (KICD)--An organization aimed at recruiting business in the region has garnered a lot of private investment over the past year.

Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation CEO Kathy Evert tells KICD News that 62 new investors have jumped aboard this year.

Evert says they now receive 70 percent of their funding from the private sector and 30 percent from the public. This represents a vast turnaround as 7 years ago the Corrridor received 80 percent of it's funding through public entities.
