Hartley, IA (KICD)--Arson and burglary charges are filed by the O'Brien County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.

The Hartley Fire Department was called to 3283 Yew Avenue in rural Hartley shorlty before 4:00 Tuesday morning.  The blaze destroyed some mobile homes and other property.  The Iowa State Fire Marshal from Spencer was dispatched after firefighters arrived on scene and further investigation resulted in the arrest of two.

2nd degree arson and 3rd degree burglary charges have been levied against 20-year-old Cassie Engelkes of Hartley and 26-year-old Erik Sundstrom-Reis of Pocahontas.  Bond was set at $10,000 each.

At press time Sundstrom-Ries has been released on bond and Engelkes remains in jail. Both will appear in District Court at a later date to answer the charges.
