Foote Trial Continued



Spencer, IA (KICD)--A Spencer man's trial on a class C felony count of willful injury has been continued.

On September 1st 22-year-old Chase Foote of Spencer was arrested after 44-year-old Jefferson Wilbur was found lying on his back and unresponsive.  WIlbur suffered possible life threatening injuries after his head struck the ground and several facial fractures.   Foote was located near the incident scene and taken into custody without incident.

A jury trial was originally slated for today.  The new date has yet to be determined.
