Farm Rescue Visits Spencer

Spencer, IA (KICD)--An organization whose mantra is "Helping Family Farmers in Crisis" introduces itself to Spencer this morning.

Founder and President Bill Gross tells KICD News about his non-profit organization known as Farm Rescue.

Gross, who came from a family farm, talks about why he decided to start up this organization.

Nearly 200 farm families have received assistance during Farm Rescue's seven years of existence.

Around half of those who are helped are referred by others.

Over 200 sponsors help to fuel the organization.
