Spirit Lake Police made a traffic stop just after 7:30(this) Wednesday morning, at the intersection of Highways 9 & 71 and 252nd Avenue, near Spirit Lake.
The officer found the driver, 34-year old Sara Farrell was wanted on a warrant out of Dickinson County, and was arrested. Further investigation turned up a green leafy substance, believed to be marijuana. As a result, Farrell was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana, along with no insurance.
She was taken to the Dickinson County Jail.
