CCREC National Recognition



Spencer, IA (KICD) -- The Clay County Regional Events Center has received National Recognition.

It was recently announced that the Events Center received the 2012 Facilities and Destinations Prime Site Award for venue excellance, by Facilities Media Group.

Scott Hallgren is General Manager of the Clay County Regional Events Center. He shares what 2012 turned out like for the Center...

He says that he along with the staff of the Events Center are very pround of the honor, and it took a lot of hard work by all workers to make 2012 so successful...
The increase in events of this past year is nothing new Hallgren says. In fact, it's a trend that's been ongoing for several years...

 
Hallgren says the honor could not have been achieved without the support of the residents of Spencer and surrounding communities.
