Arrests



Spencer, IA (KICD)--A Hartley man has been arrested in connection to a hit and run that occurred last Tuesday.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office received a report from a woman stating her shed located in the backyard by the alley had been struck by a vehicle and had a hole in it. It was determined 20-year-old Kyle Frederick backed into the shed and left the scene.

Frederick was placed under arrest Tuesday and charged with Failure to report an Accident and No Proof of Insurance. He was held in Clay County jail in anticipation of an appearance before a judge.

Hull, IA (KICD)--An Inwood man was arrested over the weekend after being caught driving while intoxicated with in infant in the car.
 
A Sioux County Deputy pulled over 25-year-old Guian Franco-Hernandez in Hull shortly after midnight Saturday morning. Charges of operating while intoxicated, driving while suspended and child endangerment were subsequently filed.
