Authorities form Ford County in Dodge City, Kansas alerted the Buena Vista County Sheriff that there was an active arrest warrant for 20-year-old Frank Bandomo of Albert City on charges of rape and sodomy with a child under the age of 14.
Bandomo was located in the Storm Lake Walmart parking lot and taken into custody. He was held on a $250,000 bond pending extradition to Kansas.
Spencer, IA (KICD)--A minor suffers non-incapacitating injuries in a Thursday morning mishap.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says 16-year-old Corey Lee was heading west in the 2400 mile of 340th Street in a Ford pickup at 8:15. Lee became distracted and entered the north ditch.
An unidentified passenger suffered non-incapacitating injuries. No hospital visit was reported.
Lee was cited for failure to maintain control.
