Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)--Two face numerous charges following a traffic stop by Emmetsburg Police Friday night.

The driver, Mark Kuester of Klemme, was found to have a suspended license and was driving under the influence. Mark and Kimberly Kuester were searched with Kimberly having meth and Mark having marijuana. Kimberly was found to have a marijuana pipe on her once at Palo Alto County jail. She faces charges of introducing contraband - a class D felony - possession of marijuana, meth, and drug paraphernalia. Mark faces charges of OWI 2nd offense, possession of marijuana, and driving while suspended.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office assisted.

Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)--A traffic stop by Emmetsburg Police and the Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office leads to drug charges.

After investigation of a suspicious vehicle complaint Joseph McKnight was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. McKnight was booked into Palo Alto County jail.

Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--A call from security staff at a Storm Lake bar led to the arrest of a man early Saturday morning.

Police say they were sent to the parking lot of Malarky's Night Club about 1:30 AM. Security staff told officers they'd seen a man checking cars in the parking lot to see if they were unlocked.

Investigators say they talked with the suspect -- 24 year old Luis Rodriguez-Gutierrez from Storm Lake. Authorities allege he gave them false information so they charged him with interference with official acts. He's being held on a 300 dollar cash bond.

Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--A 9-1-1 call leads to the arrest of a man in Storm Lake over the weekend.

Officers say they were sent to 410 Russell Street a little after one o'clock Sunday morning.

The caller -- identified as 20 year old Myat Nynie from Storm Lake -- told police he was upset about being kicked out of the home. Authorities allege Nynie was drunk.

He's charged with making a false report to police and is being held on a 300 dollar bond in the Buena Vista County Jail.

Spencer, IA (KICD)--A Paullina man is caught with a non-prescription drug during a routine search at the Clay County jail.

23-year-old Dustin Coates, who is currently held in the jail, had the contraband found in his cell last week. The charge levied was possession of contraband in a correctional facility.
