Newsradio 1240 KICD, Lite 104.9 and CD 107.7 have partnered with Southpark Mall for the 2013 Classroom Collections project!

For 23 years, this program has helped students in Spencer’s elementary schools obtain basic school supplies.  The number of students in need increases yearly.  Last year’s count was 524.  This year nearly 549 students will not be able to afford supplies.

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO HELP…

1. Stop in the Southpark Mall, pickup a bag with a list of supplies needed, and purchase the supplies needed (cost per bag is approximately $30).
2. Drop off a donation or send a check c/o Classroom Collections to the Southpark Mall Office, 901 11th St. SW Spencer, Iowa  51301.

The goal is to have enough supplies for all 549 students by Friday, July 26th.  Thank you for your support!
